Next month, all eyes will be on Houston, Texas as the annual 3DEXPERIENCE World takes place from 23rd – 26th February.

Attendees going to the US for DELMIAWorks ERP sessions can enjoy special training sessions, one-to-one ask-the-expert sessions and updates on the DELMIAWorks product roadmap.  

There is also an opportunity to see (and experience) DELMIAWorks ‘in action’ on the ‘Interactive Shop Floor’.

Top Tips for Optimisation Schedules with Advanced Features

DELMIAWorks Senior Solution Architect Manager, Cliff Scott examines the primary key to success for any manufacturer: the ability to supply customer demand in a timely and consistent fashion. 

Scott will show that an accurate shop floor production schedule is the best tool you can have to do this. In the session he’ll cover several areas where scheduling can be optimised for your business needs.

  • Minimising downtime by optimising change overs by building to efficient run sizes and scheduling maintenance intervals.
  • Scheduling to allow flexibility by incorporating buffer time between tasks and defining alternate run options.

He’ll argue that the beating heart of any ERP system is the MRP Engine (Material Requirements Planning). In this session, he’ll show how you can master DELMIAWorks’ MRP engine, IRV32.

This session will explore how DELMIA can elevate operations to new heights with its Digital Manufacturing tools. First, this presentation will show how you can use your current as-is Virtual Twin as a baseline to make changes and make the right decisions by simulating your manufacturing facility’s future state.
