Proximity is helping new and current users of IQMS, now known as DELMIAWorks, in Sweden and the Nordic region. They have joined the Svensk Plastindustriförening for this purpose. This is the Swedish Plastic Industry Association, which represents more than 140 manufacturers and suppliers.
DELMIAWorks combines ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) software. This gives organisations a complete suite for managing their manufacturing and business operations.
With years of expert knowledge and many plastic manufacturers worldwide, DELMIAWorks helps businesses tackle challenges.
These include changing raw material costs, multi and family tooling needs, regrind tracking, and shelf-life management. This support helps companies improve their profits.
Blow moulding, compounding, extrusion/co-extrusion, injection and thermoforming manufacturers all benefit from powerful functionality to ensure on-time-delivery with increased accuracy, improved quality and at a lower cost.
Proximity Enterprise Solutions is a certified DELMIAWorks reseller and provides DELMIAWorks implementation services across Europe, including the Nordics, UK and Ireland.
Commenting on membership, Nick Jackson, Proximity’s Client Director said:
“We’re delighted to be joining the Swedish Plastic Industry Association. SPIF will help Proximity and DELMIAWorks reach more small and medium-sized plastics manufacturers in Sweden, but also support our existing customers in the country”.
DELMIAWorks has many users in plastics manufacturing in Sweden and the Nordics. These include Artaplas, Plast AB Orion, Holmgrens Plast AB, and EssgePlast.
As well as joining Svensk Plastindustriförening, Proximity will be promoting DELMIAWorks at Plastteknik Nordics 2019, which takes place at Malmömässan Malmö, Sweden from 8th to 9th May 2019.
Now in its tenth year, Plastteknik Nordics is aimed at companies and individuals working in the plastics and rubber processing industry and features a comprehensive seminar programme and exhibitor zone.
Proximity and DELMIAWorks are already active members of the British Plastics Federation, PLASTICS, SPE and MAPP.
